What do you think of Obama? Matchup 1

POST ONE, by NoSuchThingAsAnOpinion

I think Obama is largely anti-American.

After all, who would have thought that an American presidential candidate would:

Publically refuse to wear an American flag lapel pin

Publically refuse to place his hand over his chest while the Pledge of Allegiance was played

Be linked to a terrorist who 1) ran a group that caused explosions in a police station and the Pentagon
2)was banned from entering Canada after the election

Claim that he didn't know the terrorist, when he actually did

(After it was exposed that he knew the terrorist) Not criticize the actions of the terrorist in an attempt to disassociate himself from him; instead, claim that he was only a child when the terrorist's group committed the bombings.

Attend a church led by a radical preacher caught on tape, and claim that he wasn't at church the days that the rants occurred

Have a wife who publically stated that the candidate's primary victory was the first time in her life that she was proud of her country

Refuse to provide his birth certificate

Pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees to block discovery, which would result in a legal obligation to provide his birth certificate

Refuse to provide evidence of his citizenship

Sign an executive order on the first day of work banning the release of his life history: kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental college records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, his passport (if any), medical records.

Be ranked as the most liberal of all 100 senators

Who would have thought that said candidate would win the Democratic Party presidential nomination?

Who would have thought that said candidate would garner more than 5% of the popular vote in the presidential election?

Who would have thought that said candidate would actually win the election?

Who would have thunk it?

POST TWO, by A_Reader

What do I think of Obama? I think he’s a good person, and a smart person.

Judging by how well he speaks, he’s obviously very intelligent. And the reason I think he’s a good person is because he seems to act on behalf of the little people.

I realize he’s been getting a lot of flack, but I believe that’s more due to the overall economy rather than his own economic policies.

I hope you agree.

  1. Response to Post #1 - What is the point of your statements? Is this country in a more unstable condition because of a hidden birth certificate? Are our economic problems more at risk because of a terrorist Obama knows in Chicago? Will America stand as the worst nation in the world because our president didn't want to wear a lapel? Maybe you think that our nation would have already elevated out of our economic situation if Mrs. Obama would have felt more love for her country before her husband was elected. The Electoral College & other voters helped this man get elected, so why is *he* taking the blame for being anti-American? Get real 'NoSuchThingAsAnOpinion'... get real.

All of this groundless propaganda has been completely and overwhelmingly debunked for nearly 2 years now. Try again.

  4. Anonymous,

    you ask:

"What is the point of your statements? Is this country in a more unstable condition because of a hidden birth certificate? Are our economic problems more at risk because of a terrorist Obama knows in Chicago?"

The point of my statements is simply what I claimed it to be. That he's anti-American. And given that he seems to be anti-American, of COURSE the country's economy is in peril! Of course you should be concerned about someone having access to the nuclear codes when that same person was unwilling to denounce a terrorist!

And he's not the only one to blame, the Congress and others are certainly to blame. But Congress didn't force him to act anti-American, didn't force him to hide his citizenship...so of course only Obama's to blame for the actions mentioned.

  5. Anonymous,

if you believe that my post has been debunked, then it's YOU that has fallen victim to propaganda.

The amount of money Obama has spent on legal fees is public information, he is required to release the info.

The executive order he signed censoring his life is public information.

Anyway, it's simply common sense that if he HADN'T banned his citizenship, birth certificate and school records, then there would be articles with photos written about them!

  6. Anonymous, I agree that it's frightening that the majority of people have voted on #2!

Think about it. Post #1 lists several specific bits of information that can be verified easily online. Post #2 makes unspecific, broad comments likes "he seems to act on behalf of the little people", with nothing to back it up.

Yet most people have voted on Post #2. Very disturbing.
